Yes, this course is suitable for beginners and aspiring piercers who want to become qualified and start offering body piercing professionally.

What will I learn on the Body Piercing Course?

You’ll learn anatomy, safe piercing techniques, sterilisation, hygiene, cross-contamination prevention, consultations, consent, aftercare, equipment use, placement, jewellery selection, health and safety, legal requirements and portfolio building.

Will I work on live models?

Yes, this course includes hands-on practical training on real live models so you can build confidence with different piercing techniques.

What piercings will I learn?

You’ll learn full body piercing from the waist up, including ears, nose, lips, tongue, belly button and nipples. Genital piercings are not included.

Is this course accredited?

Yes, this course is fully IPHM accredited. Upon completion, you’ll receive an IPHM certificate, allowing you to gain insurance and start offering professional piercing services.

Is a kit included?

No kit is included, but all products are provided for use during your training day. Product recommendations will also be supplied.

Do I need to arrange my own models?

You are welcome to arrange your own models, or we can arrange them for you. Please let us know 7 days prior to your course if you need us to arrange models for you.

MEET YOUR TRAINER

Hi, I’m Shelley, 31 and a mum to a beautiful boy. Im a body piercer, educator, and I have also recently qualified in lip blush & tattooing.

I’ve been piercing professionally for nearly 3 years now, but it all started 5 years ago with a random ear piercing course while I was working in pharmacy. I completely fell in love with it and knew it was something I had to go all in on.

Fast forward a year into piercing, I opened my own shop built from pure hard work, determination, and a genuine love for piercing.

I’m constantly learning, leveling up, researching, and pushing myself so my clients always get the best experience and my students get real, honest knowledge they can trust.

When I’m not in the studio, you’ll usually find me with a coffee in hand, spending time with my family, out on rainy walks in the woods, or probably shopping 🖤
